Pre-Paid Funerals

In addition to those people who need our help immediately, we are also able to assist those who wish to arrange and pay for their own funeral in advance.

The ‘Ivan Fisher‘ Pre-Payment Plan is available to those who want the peace of mind that they will receive the type of funeral they would like, whilst knowing that at difficult time their loved ones will have fewer hard decisions to make.

The advantages of a guaranteed pre-payment plan over a savings account or life insurance policy is that you can pay now, at today’s price, and beat inflation – no matter when our services might be required. You will also have the peace of mind that your money is secure and kept in a trust fund until our services are needed.

There is no age limit, no awkward health questions, and unlike many insurance policies, when you have paid for your plan, you do not continue paying for life.

We offer 3 different plans to suit a variety of requirements:

The Standard Plan

The most popular option, covering what most people expect of a funeral.

Removing your body to our premises, at any time of day or night, from anywhere in the local area.

Giving guidance to your relatives or executors on the registration of the death and other matters relevant to the funeral.
Taking care of your body until the funeral.

Providing facilities for viewing by your family at our premises, including preparation and dressing in a suitable gown, or your own clothes.

The supply of a Balmoral fully fitted and furnished oak veneered coffin.

Making all the arrangements for the funeral and providing the funeral director, chauffeurs and bearers for the funeral service.

Supply of a hearse and one limousine – the cortege can leave from a local address, proceed to a local place of worship if required, then on to the local crematorium or place of burial.

Receiving flowers for the funeral, or charitable donations, or indeed both, and providing a list of donors to your relatives or executors.

A contribution towards other expenses or ‘disbursements’

The Traditional Plan

This provides an enhanced service, with the following variations to the Standard Plan:

The supply of a Consort coffin finished in oak or mahogany veneer, with a double raised lid and panelled sides, fully fitted and furnished.

Supplying two limousines instead of one.

The Simple Plan

Similar to the Standard Plan but with the following variations to reduce the cost:

A Plain simple veneered coffin is supplied.

This plan does not allow for a service in church prior to the committal or a procession or limousine; the hearse would travel directly to the cemetery or crematorium from our office.

Administering charitable donations is not included.

The Personal Plan

In addition to the three set plans outlined above, a personal plan can be drawn up to meet your exact requirements.  A personalised plan could include things such as a horse drawn hearse, an American style casket or other such extras.
